New Vanity!

Hey Glammies!! So I wanted to show you my new vanity that I built this month. I am so happy with the results even though it did leave me kind of broke :( I got the Alex Drawers from Ikea which were 90$ and the chair I already had in my dining room. The mirror I got at Ikea as well and it is the Kolja Mirror and it was only 10$. Then I got the Linnmon table top from Ikea the 47" for 15$ and I put this on top of the drawers to form a desk. The bar lights on the side of my mirror are from Ikea as well and each were 15$. The lightbulbs I had to buy from Ikea too because they were special lightbulbs and I couldn't find any other ones that fit. The lightbulbs were so expensive. I spent about 80$ on the lightbulbs!! The wiring of the bar lights was also tricky. I had to buy a lamp cord/socket and connect the wiring to the bar light wiring in the back. I got my flower vase at Target and the fake white flowers from Michaels. I got my extra lamp from Target as well. I got my small vanity mirror from Kohls for 20$. The big rectangle vase that is holding my big brushes I got from Michaels and the smaller brush cups I got from Target and lastly, the lipstick holder I got from Lady Moss website. I will link where to get everything down below vvv

Holiday Gifts/Stocking Stuffers !

Since the holidays are among us and everyone is going crazy looking for the perfect gifts for the people they love, including myself. I decided to share some stuff I found online and in stores that would be perfect gifts for your guys and gals.

Girl Gifts:

Sephora has a ton of cute little stocking stuffers and gifts. These are the ones I liked the most.

I got these pictures from their website. How perfect is this little straightener? Who wouldn't love one of these to keep in their purse? and it is only 29$!

Then they have the Naked Basics Palette for 29$ as well. I think this is another perfect gift for someone who is always on the go and needs this in their bag.

I love this facial cleanser! This little packaging is so cute as well! Perfect stocking stuffer! and it is only 10$!!

This mini perfume duo from Juicy Couture is also a great gift! It is only 19$!!

I also found these in the Sephora store on Black Friday they are sold out online but they might still have it in stores.

The lipgloss on the left is 12$ and it comes in 4 different colors I believe.
The package of 3 on the right was 10$ and it comes with 3 different color lipglosses
These are both from Bite Beauty.

Then I went exploring on the Michael Kors page and I found out they were having a sale of up to 50% off! I don't know until when they are having this sale but they have great deals!

This bag is only 164$!

Guys:

Buying gifts for a guy can sometimes be difficult, but here are some great gifts I found.

There are watches on the Michael Kors page for only 144$! This one is my favorite

I also found these Nike sweatpants. These are great for any guy at any age! Who doesn't love a good pair of sweats? These are only 42$ at Dick's Sporting Goods and come in different colors!

They also have great shirts and sweaters for guys at Forever 21 men and great jackets at Armani Exchange.

Hope you liked the gift ideas and thanks for reading Gammies!

Pink Sunset Eyes

Hey guys! So I created this look yesterday and wanted to share with you guys what products I used so you can achieve this look as well.

EYES:
First you start off with a matte Taupe color in the crease. I used ES62 from Morphe Brushes. Use a fluffy blender brush to blend it all over the crease. Then to deepen the crease I used a darker matte brown. I used ES63 from Morphe Brushes . Use the same fluffy blender brush. Then I went in with a firm eye shadow brush from Morphe brushes and packed on a light satin pink. I used Cupcake eye shadow form Makeup Geek. Then I used another firm eye shadow brush and packed on the color ES59 from Morphe Brushes on the outer corner and middle of my lid. Then to finish off, I grabbed a blender brush I used Mac 217. Then grabbed some more of the ES63 color and blended it into my outer corner and into the crease until everything was blended in.

LIPS:
MAC Soar Lip Liner
MAC Brave Lipstick
NARS turkish delight lipgloss

Smokey Cat Eye with Nude Lips

So I've been M.I.A for a while busy with school and work but I'm back! Last night I was playing around with my Naked 2 Palette and decided to create this look. It's a black/grey smokey cat eye. I decided it would look nice with Nude lips.
I will link all product used at the end.
(Btw the white thing sticking out of my ear is my earphone bud)
First step: I like doing my eye makeup before doing my face just because you can clean everything up after and if eyeshadow falls out onto your cheeks, it won't mess anything up. So first off, prime your eyelids with a base. I used Mac Painterly Paint Pot.

Second Step: Take 2 pieces of scotch tape and put it on the back of your hand a couple of times so it wont stick so hard to your eyes, then take the pieces of tape and tape them on the corner of your eye going up to your eyebrow to make a cat eye shape. Make sure the tapes are at the same angles because one can come out different shape and the other. Just make sure the tapes are somewhat aligned to one another.

Third Step: Grab your Naked 2 Palette (if you don't have this palette, use any taupe brown you have) I used shade Tease in the Naked 2 Palette. Grab a fluffy blending brush and apply this to your crease and buff it out. I used Sigma E-40 (tapered blending brush)

Fourth Step: Take the shade Pistol in the Naked 2 Palette (or grab any dark silver shade) and apply this all over the lid with a shadow brush. I used sigma E-55 brush (eye shading brush) To achieve more intensity of this color I sprayed my brush with MAC Fix+ and applied the eye shadow. This will intensify the color.

Fifth Step: Take another smaller blending brush (I used MAC 217 brush) and take color Blackout from the palette (or any matte black eye shadow) and start blending the color from the outer corner blending it to the crease (start where the tape is, and start blending it in). Keep take more shadow and blending until there are no harsh lines and the black is very intensified.

Sixth Step: If you want a more intense smokey eye, take off the tapes, grab a black eyeliner, (I used Avon Blackest Night G04 Pencil Liner) or you can use MAC Smolder Eye Pencil and line the upper eyelid and trace the outer line where the tape was. Then grade a pencil brush or any small brush to blend that eye liner in. I also lined my waterline with my eyeliner.

Seventh Step: Take the color Verse form the Naked 2 Palette and take a Pencil brush or any small brush and pack the color in the inner corner of your eye. I also passed the shadow with my pencil brush on my bottom lash line.

Eighth Step: Grab the color Foxy from the palette and put this as your brow bone highlight. Right under the arch of your eyebrow.

You should have achieved a look similar to mine!

For lips you do either a Nude lip or even a very red matte color.
I used L.A Girl Cosmetics Glazed Lip Paint in the color Whisper.
This should somewhat look like your final look. Comment on what you'd like to see next! I can use your ideas :)

Here are the products I used and where to get them!

Face:
Primer: Frankie Rose Cosmetics Primer to prime my face

Outfit Of The Day: Short Overalls

Love this outfit for a summer day like today in NY. Got these overalls at Necessary Clothing for 40$, The striped boxy tee is from H&M and saw a similar one at Forever 21 and the shoes are Converse. You can also pair this outfit with white or black sandals.

Summer Foundation

These are my two favorite things to use to achieve a bronzy foundation look this summer. Georgio Armani Foundation is super light on the skin and perfect for the summer for sheer coverage. I use shade  5.5 but I mix this Luminous Silk Foundation with the new Maestro Liquid Summer (bronzer). I just add one or two drops to my foundation and I have a darker shade. I bought these at Nordstrom. The prices are a little high on these products but are worth it! Foundation: 62$ and Liquid Bronzer: 64$.
What do you think about these?

Vera Mona Color Switch

I was honestly amazed with this product. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. The color switch from Vera Mona is a round metal container and it switches the color on your eyeshadow brush with just a couple of strokes onto the black foamy part inside the container. As you can see in the video I swatched a black eyeshadow and rubbed it on the black foam and swatched the brush on my hand again and there was no more product on the brush. If you are a make-up artist and you do not want to keep washing brushes in between applications, you need this product!

Makeup Vanity Desk

Just wanted to show you guys the way my vanity desk is set up! On the top, I have a mirror, lamp, my dividers for my makeup and a lipstick holder by Lady Moss. It holds 24 round lipsticks. Then in the drawer, I have containers with dividers for my jewelry and some eyeshadow palettes and contour kits. In the big container I store my powders blushes and sprays.

NEW HAIR !

Hey guys, so I went to the salon today to get Balayage Highlights and I am in love ! I've been through so many bad experiences with my hair and hair salons that I have a hard time trusting people with my hair. I went to Hernan Prada Salon in Scarsdale, NY. They had really good reviews online and they had a group on, so I decided to give it a go. My hair stylist was Kiersten. She was so nice and explained how the Balayage technique worked. I also loved the was she cut and styled my hair. I will definitely be going back to go lighter in 2-3 months.

Reviews

My Favorite Foundation

I am so glad I got this foundation. You guys have to buy this! It is from Frankie Rose Cosmetics. I am the color Olive and it is perfect for my yellowy skin tone. It is also perfect if you have dry sensitive skin. It will moisturize but not leave your skin oily looking. It is also great because you do not need to apply layers of this foundation, with one application it will suffice and leave your skin matte looking. I prefer using my Sigma Flat Kabuki Brush to achieve a flawless looking application. The Sigma brushes are amazing!
You can get the foundation at Frankie Rose Cosmetics
The Sigma Flat Kabuki Brush can be purchased at Sigma

For eyebrows I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Chocolate. For my eyes, I used Mac Painterly Paint Pot for my base, and then I used my naked 2 Palette. For my lips I used Mac Pro Longwear Lipglass in Ready or Not.
